DESCRIPTION:“In an extended temporal space\,The mirrors are everywhere.Y
ou and Me\,An echo thread of wonderland.” \n“The Game of Shifting Mir
rors” is a 4 part immersive experience and performance\, provoking the a
wakening of an inner world\, where\, in the dark\, one can see.\nThe audie
nce are invited one by one to enter into a world of wonder where\, through
reflection\, perception and relational encounter\, one discovers not mere
ly a performance\, but an unfolding of presence\, curiosity and shared see
ing. \nThrough the extended temporal space that is created\, the audience
are participants whose presence and awareness is instrumental in the coll
ective wandering labyrinth that evolves. \nThere is mystery\, there is no
thingness\, there are a few surprise twists to trigger further the collect
ive space.\nSince 2008\, The Rabbit Hole has been creating experiences tha
t seek to stimulate new ideas about the self and the other and to challeng
e culturally constructed limits and borders. With a history of developing
acclaimed deeply moving encounters and journeys in New York City\, Barcelo
na\, Istanbul and Naples\, with the backing of Adidas\, Diageo\, among oth
ers brands\, and the support of foundations such as Fondazione Morra and T
he Anna Lindh Foundation\, the collective perseveres strongly with its pri
nciples on deconstruction and the reinvention of rituals and forms. \nCon
necting the research “the art of remembering” through techniques learn
ed at Teatro de Los Sentidos\, Samina Virani wrote “The Game of Shifting
Mirrors” as a profound yet playful mirror work\, that takes each one tu
mbling down the rabbit hole\, into a blank canvas\, a surprising collectiv
e wonderland\, and ritual of "seeing."\nHere actors Rossella Cecili and Ch
iara Capitani bring the script to life with their powerful\, playful and v
 ivacious performances.\n \nProject link: www.101010n.comThe Rabbit Hole w
