 p\, dedicated to the use of BEVA 371 for the structural consolidation of p
 aintings on canvas\, led by MATTEO ROSSI DORIA\, one of Europe’s special
 ists in this technique.\nDates and Venue: 21–24 September 2026\, at ESA 
 Saint-Luc Liège.\nProgramme:\nThis four-day workshop offers an immersion 
 into current applications of BEVA 371 for the structural consolidation of 
 paintings on canvas. It combines one day of theoretical sessions with thre
 e days of practical exercises intended for professional conservators-resto
 rers.\nDay 1: Theoretical Session\nThe morning will focus on the history o
 f the invention of BEVA by Gustav Berger and its rapid development in the 
 United States and subsequently throughout the world.\nThe recent reformula
 tion of the original BEVA\, known as Akron BEVA\, developed as part of the
  “Conserving Canvas” project\, supported by the Getty Foundation\, wil
 l also be presented.\nThe afternoon will be devoted to the use of BEVA 371
  in different forms and on various supports (canvas\, paper and potentiall
 y contemporary materials).\nThe session will conclude with a question-and-
 answer session.\nDay 2: Practical Session\nMorning: introduction to compat
 ible materials and techniques\, and possible applications.\nAfternoon: pre
 paration of the supports (linen\, cotton\, polyester\, papers\, multilayer
 ed supports)\, applications (tear repair and consolidation\, inserts\, fac
 ing\, and consolidation of original materials).\nDay 3: Practical Session\
 nImplementation of the BEVA 371 spray application (“flocking”) techniq
 ue.\nDay 4: Practical Session\nReactivation of the adhesive through contro
 lled application of heat (heated iron and heated table).\nClosing round-ta
 ble discussion.\nFee:\nDay 1 online or in person in Liège: €60 – Free
  for students in Conservation-Restoration.\nDays 1 to 4: €500 (Day 1 onl
 ine or in person / Days 2–4 in person).\nMaximum of 15 participants\, re
