DESCRIPTION:Science & Tech Diplomacy (Part 1) : Tech Diplomacy in the Era
of US/China/EU Rivalry\nTech diplomacy has rapidly moved from the margins
to the core of international relations. As science diplomacy becomes a key
lens to understand global power\, tech diplomacy emerges as its most stra
tegic and technical frontier. \nToday’s tech diplomats navigate a dense
agenda: attracting AI talent\, shaping global norms and standards\, govern
ing data\, and securing digital infrastructures. At the same time\, the fi
eld is no longer state-centric: powerful private actors\, from big tech fi
rms to research networks\, now play a decisive role in structuring outcome
 s. This round table asks a central question: Is tech diplomacy simply a ne
w specialization or a transformation of diplomacy itself? The answer lies
in the growing tension between competition and cooperation\, structured ab
ove all by the US/China/EU rivalry. \nVenue : Salons Scientifiques\n
