DESCRIPTION:\nThe inaugural ISM Youth Piano Competition will take place
  on Saturday 30th May 2026 in the ISM Auditorium.\n\nThe ISM Youth Pia
 no Competition\, organised by the ISM Performing Arts Department\, is dedi
 cated to nurturing the next generation of pianists by providing a world-cl
 ass platform for young talents to showcase their artistry. More than just 
 a musical event\, the competition is a transformative experience designed 
 to inspire excellence\, foster a deep love for music\, and create a vibran
 t community where students aged 4 to 18 can grow\, connect\, and achieve t
 heir full potential.\n\n\nRooted in Monaco’s rich cultural heritage\, th
 e competition reflects the principality’s values of diversity\, creativi
 ty\, and excellence. It offers young pianists opportunities to refine thei
 r skills\, gain invaluable performance experience\, and develop resilience
 \, discipline\, and confidence. Through rigorous evaluation by esteemed ju
 dges\, participants are encouraged to push their artistic boundaries while
  celebrating their individuality and creativity.\n\n		 \n\nThe ISM Youth 
 Piano Competition serves as a gathering place for students\, educators\, f
 amilies\, and music enthusiasts from diverse backgrounds. By fostering con
 nections and encouraging collaboration\, the event creates lasting relatio
 nships that support musical growth and personal development. The competiti
 on also promotes inclusivity by welcoming students of all nationalities an
 d celebrating their unique artistic voices.\n\n\nCommitted to shaping the

 aco’s cultural landscape and inspire future generations of pianists and 
 music lovers. \n\nThe competition will be open to pianists in the Princip
 ality and the limitrophe.\n\nPlaces are limited. The competition categorie
 s are as follows:\n		 \n\n\nSection A - Educational Division\n\nYoung Pia
 nist: Foundation Level\n\nUp to 6 years\n\nMax. 2 minutes\n\nFor the young
 est performers beginning their musical journey. Focus on basic technique\,
  rhythm\, confidence and enjoyment of performance.\n\nApprox. beginner–G
 rade 1 level.\n\nApplication fee: €30\n\n	 \n\nYoung Pianist: Elementar
 y Level\n\nUp to 10 years\n\nMax. 4 minutes\n\nFor performers developing m
 usical awareness and basic expressive skills\, with growing technical cont
 rol.\n\nApprox. Grade 2–3 level.\n\nApplication fee: €40\n\n	 \n\nEme
 rging Pianist Division\n\nUp to 14 years\n\nMax. 6 minutes\n\nFor perform
 ers beginning to demonstrate musical personality\, stylistic awareness and
  stronger technical coordination.\n\nApprox. Grade 4–5 level.\n\nApplica
 tion fee: €50\n\n	 \n\nDeveloping Pianist Division\n\nUp to 18 years\n
 \nMax. 8 minutes\n\nFor committed young musicians showing expressive matur
 ity\, solid technique and artistic development.\n\nApprox. Grade 6–8 lev
 el.\n\nApplication fee: €60\n\n	 \n\nSection B - Artistic Division\n\nA
 dvanced Artist Division\n\nUp to 15 years\n\nMax. 9 minutes\n\nFor highly 
 dedicated performers transitioning toward pre-professional study\, with co
 nfident technique\, stylistic understanding and stage presence.\n\nApprox.
  post-Grade 8 / pre-diploma level.\n\nApplication fee: €70\n	 \n\nConce
 rt Artist Division\n\nUp to 18 years\n\nMax. 12 minutes\n\nFor outstanding
  young musicians approaching conservatory or professional level\, demonstr
 ating artistic maturity\, refined interpretation and advanced technical co
 mmand.\n\nApplication fee: €80\n
