 d Vandenbogaerde. Claude Evence Janssens choisit d’abord la voie de l’
 écriture pour violoncelle seul\, dans une démarche imprégnée de musiqu
 e baroque\, mais aussi de musique répétitive-minimaliste et post-moderne
  inspirée par Phil Glass\, Steve Reich\, Arvo Pärt\, ...\n\n		Claude Eve
 nce augmente ensuite ses compositions de sons de synthèse ambient inspir
 és par des musiciens plasticiens tels que Brian Eno. Ces sons agissent so
 us forme de contrepoints et d’interférences avec le monologue du violon
 celle\, via des samples aériens contrebalancés par des infra-basses.\n\n
 		La dernière touche est apportée par le percussionniste Pierre Quiriny.
  Aux baguettes et aux mailloches\, il interagit avec le violoncelle et l
 ’électronique pré-enregistrée\, à laquelle il ajoute\, en live\, des
  samples déclenchés via des pads numériques.\n\n		Au final\, sculpting 
 se présente comme le parcours introspectif d’un personnage\, incarné a
 vec lyrisme par le violoncelle\, au fil d’un voyage où les sons ambient
  expriment les paysages traversés\, tandis que les percussions traduisent
  en contrepoint les faits\, les accidents de la vie\, qui vont\, qui vienn

 kelijk een voorstel van Sigrid Vandenbogaerde. Claude Evence Janssens kies
 t eerst voor het schrijven voor solo cello\, in een benadering die doordro
 ngen is van barokmuziek\, maar ook van repetitieve-minimalistische en post
 moderne muziek geïnspireerd door Phil Glass\, Steve Reich\, Arvo Pärt\, 
 ...\n\n	 \n\n	Claude Evence breidt zijn composities vervolgens uit met am
 bient synthesizergeluiden\, geïnspireerd door plastische muzikanten zoals
  Brian Eno. Deze geluiden fungeren als contrapunten en interferenties met 
 de monoloog van de cello\, via luchtige samples die worden gecompenseerd d
 oor infrabassen.\n\n	 \n\n	De laatste toets wordt aangebracht door percus

 d Vandenbogaerde. Claude Evence Janssens first chose to write for solo cel
 lo\, in a style influenced by baroque music\, but also by repetitive-minim
 alist and post-modern music inspired by Phil Glass\, Steve Reich\, Arvo P
 ärt\, etc.\n\n	 \n\n	Claude Evence then enhanced his compositions with a
 mbient synthesised sounds inspired by visual artists such as Brian Eno. Th
 ese sounds act as counterpoints and interferences with the cello monologue
 \, via airy samples counterbalanced by sub-bass frequencies.\n\n	 \n\n	Th
 e final touch is provided by percussionist Pierre Quiriny. With his sticks
  and mallets\, he interacts with the cello and pre-recorded electronics\, 
 to which he adds live samples triggered via digital pads.\n\n	 \n\n	Ultim
 ately\, sculpting presents itself as the introspective journey of a charac
 ter\, lyrically embodied by the cello\, on a voyage where ambient sounds e
