Weezevent API Fair Use

The Weezevent API gives developers of third party applications access to the database and basic functionalities of the Weezevent Ticketing solution.

Fair use  

The API is intended to be called by another application which handles the data for its own purpose.  Therefore, data retrieved should be stored and queries should be filtered to limit API load.

There is a few automatic rules to limit load per IP. These limits could be change without any notifications to protect our servers.

5 invalid credentials attempts will result in a 30 min ban (API will return HTTP 429 response)
more than 600 requests in the same minute will result in a 30 min ban (API will return HTTP 429 response)
more than 10 credentials attempts in the same minute, either valid or invalid, will result in a 1 min ban (API will return HTTP 429 with an explicit "Too Many access_token requests")

Please store the tokens on your server and do not ask credential before any other query.

Please store results so that you do not query again and again for the same data and use diff request (only modified participants for example).
